The Photography of Patrick Demarchelier

Recent book find. Amazing Book of Black and White Photos by Patrick Demarchelier. Prior to buying this book at the flea market I never heard the name Patrick Demarchelier, but everybody knows that iconic Janet Jackson semi-nude photo below. Forward by Glen O'Brien, My favorite part of the forward is when he O'Brien says that he and Demarchelier discussed basketball and he says in regards to B-Ball "...basketball, which is the most beautiful of all sports". I love it when people manage to sneak in a sports reference into a discussion about art, or compare sports to art in any way.
