Aaron Rose's Fire Sale at Known Gallery LA

Artist Curator Aaron Rose sold a bunch of stuff from his old storage unit. Ultimate Garage Sale/Storage Unit blow out sale. Lots of Beautiful Loser's merch/collectibles. Probably 100 people were lined up and ready to buy up everything at 7:00pm when the show opened (Although doors opened at 7:30pm) Letting 6 people in at a time. I was lucky as I managed to grab 3 Original Mark Gonzales Drawings. (it was limit three items from each section). Then I stumbled upon a Mark Gonzales Collaboration on wood which was 150. Stoked on the purchase. They also had brand new RVCA shirts for $5. And punk Cd's for $1 (but you could only buy 3) Wish I had grabbed some zines and posters. But was so pumped on the OG Gonz art I just wanted to check out and go get em all framed. (posted a bunch of tagged photos of the drawings below) Sick that Aaron Rose has been in the game so long that his leftover garage merch equates to a solid contemporary art up shop. I wonder what the best items were that were not for sale, or what friends and family purchased before at the Preview. (They let people in an hour early if you were invited I saw Harmony Korine, Chad Muska, Kelsey Brookes, Alex Olsen, Chris Johansen and a bunch of skate industry people buying up stuff before show was open to all.) They probably got some Great stuff as what I bought was their scraps.
