And they had picked up their art school girl friend from Mission Viejo.
She put 2 weeks into this Obey Logo Krochet piece and intended to put it up on the streets when the times right.
She found out about the show and decided the time was right to put her hard work up on the streets, right across the street from the Shepard Fairey Obey Giant Gallery Show Opening.
This is the girl (sorry forgot her name) admiring her own work.
(To me it's 2 weeks lost cuz it's time/$ & it's gonna get jacked for sure... but probably felt rad to actually get it up. For her to see her project through was cool to see.) Look below to see how 3 minutes later some asian college kids came and tried to rip it down cuz it's dope. And we ran over to help stop em. So I just took a few pics and bailed, cuz I knew that piece was going to be gone real quick.
