Rain on Our Treasure Parade.

Yesterday Saturday Oct 23rd, 2010 it was raining at the swapmeet all morning. So I bought a few things took a few wet pics and bailed out quickly.

It would occassionally stop raining and lot of vendors would start bringing out their merch bought usually from storage units.

This one seller that usually has music had a bunch of rad Letters, a $40 califonia photo book, and this classy print or silkscreen original print. (no print number -figure it's original)

Paid $10 for the 1970's book of letters to senators(that I wanna take to antiques road show),
and the Framed Art Piece was $10,
Book was $7. $27 Total

I think I did well.
Mainly saved em from the rain getting to them, cuz right when I bailed a hot set of clouds came over and downpour hit the swapmeets serving them up with a buncha water on their newly placed dry items.

Want to look up the artist but don't have that $200 book with all listed artists.

So aparently they don't refund the vendors anymore when it rains at the swapmeet. So they all have to set up and get their merch all wet and rainy. On rainy or damp days, It's really about buying the treasure and pulling it off to safety/dryness in your car ASAP.

Took the pics below (between 5:30am and 7am) while cruzin on my offroad 80's skateboard, and pretty much destroying the barings with rainwater. Kinda fun though.

This was in the back of a truck about to unload. It felt pretty artsy so I took some pics. And got a good one out of 4-5 snaps taken in the rain/heavy drizzle.
