I never heard of Bob Starr but bought this album based off of how cool the cover art is. And the Music is as good as the cover art.

With everybody "going green" now a days, it's cool/interesting to see an independent Funk/Soul album from the 70's that was concerned with energy & gas conservation. But mostly funk though.

This guy Russ is Official!

Just met him today but he mashed up on the 50degree beach(at 6:00am) wearing a leather jacket/eating a box of Life cereal - wearing No Shoes. (on some super rockstar stuff) He was really stoked on the size, so quickly ran to get his pink wetsuit and cigarette and went out there to go get some. :)
