RARE WAX - OC Record Convention

Last sunday every month.
I usually just come to get protective clear plastic record sleeves. And just walk around to see what my rival cratediggers have turned up over the last month.

Sometimes there are deals to be had, or treasures to find. But the majority of these snake douchebag sellers know their stuff.

Which is why I personally don't buy from here. I prefer to unearth my rare gems straight out of the temple of doom. Much more fun/pure diggin' fresh crates. Buying here is like buying from a bunch of Indiana Jones's who are looking to finally get paid for their treasures the extracted from their travels. Hence they all price gouge for the good stuff.

CLASSIC SURF ROCK

PSYCH ROCK Covers are the Best.

Sick Raymond Pettibon Cover. Very Rare. Called "Cracks in the Sidewalk". LP Features the Minutemen, and Black Flag. Might get that framed or signed as I probably am not going to be seeing another any time soon. And the image is powerful.

Artist Promos Rock

Artist Parra from Amsterdam gave me this shirt in his VIP promo bag at his first west coast show at the Standard Hotel, LA. Really fun show!

(Gave me a print too on canvas/or vinyl - will try to post pics can't find it now - it's similar just more characters)
Thought at first is was a cool T-shirt design. (it refers to "a Ball" or Party, "Balling" as in having $, or to actually "play ball" as in sports. A little more interesting to me when I realized it cud mean 3 things)

Just picked this up from the framers. Art is always better on the wall than in a portfolio case or rolled in a tube.

Silk Screened Print by UK Artist Team called - "I Luv Dust". They gave me one in LA a little while back.
Cool little positive daily montra piece. Like the drippy goopy lettering. And the cranberry-grape drink/jelly flavor.

Random Graff

Random Snaps - the majority 3 of 4 of the pics were taken while riding my offroad skateboard. Seems like crappy graffitti is as good or better than, as "good" graffitti sometimes.
