1986 Skate Art Find

Over the weekend american picking at the swapmeet I found this nice original Ink on Paper Skate Art Illustration from 1986. By an artist with the last name Mattson. For right now to me it's by an unknown artist (as I couldn't find any info yet), but I wouldn't be surprised if he or she is a known 1980's skate/surf artist.
Stoked on the Powell Peralta & Vans references.  All the oldschool art collecting flea market guys must have overlooked it at a glance assuming it was student/amateur grade. (although I did pick it up at 5:45am using a flashlight, it just got pulled from the sellers truck so it wasn't out on the swap floor but for about 10 min max, so it wasn't overlooked for long before I got there.)

It's either a profesional artist, on an amateur artist on a really good day as Linework is tight and pretty precise (with a signature in the spirit of legendary surf artist Rick Griffin). I didn't notice at first but the lines that appear to be white and black matting boards are actually just clean lines drawn on the paper to create a border. (which I thought was pretty clever.)
Overall A Solid $10 pick up. #treasurehunting
