Richard Misrach Photo Book
I purchased a bunch of 1970's EasyRider Magazines for my buddy(about 100 motorcycle Magazines) and amongst the cycle heavy zines, I stumbled upon this Pretty Amazing Book of Black and White Photos by Photographer Richard Misrach. "Telegraph 3 A.M." Threw it in with the lot wedged between all the mags and got one price bundling them all together. Here's some good shots from the book (a bunch of great nude photos but blogspot doesn't play that). Pretty Expensive Independently Pressed book from 1974 worth about 250-600 on amazon.
Tim Burton Nightmare Before Christmas 20th Aniversary
The El Capitain Theater on Hollywood Blvd is showing the Nightmare Before Christmas in 4-D for the 20th Aniversary of the movie (the whole movie was deja vu for me as I saw it in the theater 20 years ago when I was 11.)
