Richard Avedon "Observations" Book Find

Happy about this 1959 Richard Avedon Photo Book I found over the weekend.  I've never seen an Avedon Book before. 

It was so good I couldn't stop until I got through the whole thing. Words by Truman Capote. Features Portraits of Alfred Hitchcock, Judy Garland, Marilyn Monroe, Picasso, Marcel Duchamp, Georgia O'Keeffe, Frank Loyd Wright and many other legends.

(Some images were first seen in the pages of  Harper's Bazaar as he thanked Harper's Bazaar for allowing them to print a few of the images.)

Large Book about 15 Inches Tall.

 

 

 

Deltron 3030 Live Performace in Long Beach @ Fingerprints Records

The good people at Fingerprints Records in Long Beach California did it again and scored a Live InStore Performance by Deltron 3030. (Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, Dan the Automator, & Kid Koala.) Performed about 6 songs (3 new, & 3 from the old album.)on Friday Night.  Promotional Event for their New Release Deltron 3030 "Event 2".

Live Performance followed by a Poster/Record Signing Session. 

Del killed it, and Kid Koala destroyed on the 1's & 2's, and Automators beats are perfect as usual.  

3 Masters (Microphone, Beats, and the Wheels of Steel.) come together to form a special/unstoppable trio.

Well Done Del, Automator, Koala, and Fingerprints for making it happen.

 

(Quick Fact: (I didn't know) but Del rides a Skateboard and can olley real nice!)
